Local Mayors and Lee County Probate Judge declared October 5-11, 2008 as
Mental Illness Awareness Week in Auburn, Opelika, and Lee Counties. A
candlelight vigil was held to celebrate recovery from and the battle
against Mental Illnesses on October 7, 2008 at Founder’s Chapel of
Auburn United Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m.
